Gold Rush Has Begun!
Sunday morning, our sensational six set off to find their fortune in the California Alps. They left the comforts of the Incline Village Nevada, skirting around Lake Tahoe on the western shore, summiting Luther Pass and eventually up the infamous Carson Pass.
Early equipment issues. None. Unlike their adventurer forefathers who blazed the immigrant trail, these road warriors were surprised by the new pavement on Luther and Carson Pass. Maybe just a bit deflated not to be dodging potholes from the 1800's, our riders enjoyed the incredible fall colors riding through Hope Valley.
So excited to be continuing the TdCA in it's third iteration. This years Gold Rush edition will not be any easier, with Monitor and Ebbetts on tap for tomorrow. There's gold in them thar hills!
